We will help determine where you fit.
Who is eligible to join?

Current, former, and retired U.S. military service members may participate in appropriate team activities. Those no longer serving must have been discharged under honorable conditions. Official USA Hockey Warrior tournament eligibility will be confirmed under current requirements.

Do I need previous hockey experience?

No. If you have never played before, we will work with you to build your skills and get you up to speed.

What if I have never skated?

That is okay. We can work with you on the fundamentals of skating.

Do I need a VA disability rating?

Official USA Hockey Warrior participation requires qualifying veteran status. We will confirm eligibility privately using current USA Hockey requirements.

Do I need to register with USA Hockey?

Yes. Players will need a current USA Hockey registration before participating in official team activities on the ice.

How much will it cost?

To be determined. Some Warrior programs collect player dues, but final costs will depend on ice, funding, and sponsorships.

Do I need my own equipment?

Having your own properly fitted equipment is preferred. If you do not have gear, we will try to help locate equipment for you.

Where and when will practices be held?

To be determined. A rink is planned for Pace, Florida. If it opens, we will work to secure ice time there.

Will the team travel to tournaments?

Yes. Participation will depend on eligibility, roster needs, funding, and player availability.

Can active-duty members participate?

Yes, in appropriate team activities, as volunteers, and in non-Warrior events. Official tournament eligibility will follow current USA Hockey requirements.

Can family members participate?

Family members can support the program as volunteers and fans.

How can a business sponsor the team?

Use the Contact Us form and tell us how your business would like to support the team.

Can people donate equipment?

Yes. Use the Contact Us form to discuss current equipment needs and donations.

How can I become a coach or volunteer?

Use the Contact Us form and tell us how you would like to help.

When will the team begin playing?

Our goal is to begin skating during summer 2027, depending on local ice availability.

Is this ice hockey, roller hockey, or both?

The current program is focused on ice hockey. There may be an opportunity to add roller hockey later.
